Verplaatsing monument St Eustatius

By means of a Public notice, the Statia Government of St Eustacius informs the public that the monument dedicated to Michiel de Ruyter has been relocated to a new permanent site. Original location: Centre of Fort Oranje New location: Beside the old administration building/former tourist office Relocation in preparation of the 250y commemoration of the First Salute given by St Eustatius, recognizing the sovereignty of the USA for the first time in history.
