1967 Medway commemoration

After 300 years a descendant was invited to attend the commemoration of the Medway Raid. An English admiral offered him a cannonball taken from the walls of Upnor Castle stating: "This must be yours, Sir." After numerous attempts the sternpiece of Royal Charles was temporarily loaned to the Greenwich Maritime Museum. It did come back though!
